About the materials
The ring is made of Macassar Ebony which is known for its dark, almost black, colour which can have streaks of lighter brown throughout its grain. It is also known as one of the most precious woods in the world.

This ring is made by hand, using the bentwood technique. The wood is steamed and then bent around the circumference of the ring. The result of this process is a thin yet very strong ring. Note that there will always be a seam in every bentwood ring. This seam is more or less visible depending on the type of wood you ring is made of. To make this ring truly unique it is fitted with an inlay of light blue Opal and Lapis Lazuli, separated from the wood with two Stainless Steel inlays.
The rings finish
The ring is finished with a mix of CA and water-resistant varnish, giving it some extra shine and protection. Like with all wooden rings we strongly recommend taking it off when washing hands, dealing with chemicals or for manual labour though.
